We are pleased to share that Laetitia Bracco was invited to present OSMI at the most recent public meeting of Incentivizing Collaborative and Open Research (ICOR) on 10 July 2024. The theme of the meeting was “Measuring and Recognizing the Nuances of Research Impact”.

This presentation stressed the importance of having a common understanding of open science monitoring. Acknowledging that many national and international monitoring initiatives exist,, many organisations, including the G7, are calling for a global framework. Developing common Principles on Open Science Monitoring is the first goal of OSMI in order to make that framework possible.

OSMI’s goal can contribute to reevaluations of research impact. The feedback and questions received from the ICOR community after this presentation showed interest and support.
