The OSMI Steering Board held its latest meeting on 18 March 2026, marking a significant step in the initiative’s governance and strategic direction. The session focused on nominations, working group progress, and future planning, with key decisions shaping OSMI’s path forward.
The meeting began with nominations, solidifying OSMI’s governance structure:
- Nicolas Fressengeas was elected as Chair of the Steering Board, reinforcing leadership continuity.
- Laetitia Bracco was appointed as Chair of the Coordination Committee, overseeing day-to-day operations.
The Coordination Committee provided an update on key achievements. The flash survey on OSMI Principles was presented, and will be communicated to the public soon. Each working group presented its updates and challenges. And finally, the Board engaged in breakout sessions to refine OSMI’s high-level vision, with outcomes to be presented in the next meeting.
