I am deeply honored to accept the appointment as co-chair of Working Group 1 (WG1). Beyond being a personal milestone, I regard this role as an invaluable opportunity to collaborate with and learn from a global community of practice that works tirelessly to advance and support the development of inclusive, data-informed frameworks for monitoring open science. I look forward to contributing my expertise in scientometrics, policy analysis, and research infrastructure to this important endeavour.
