Michelle Barker, Director of the Research Software Alliance, Australia

I’m looking forward to contributing my expertise in facilitating changes to the research system at the international level, to ensure OSMI’s better alignment with other initiatives. I have facilitated advances for the research community in areas including open science policy, digital research personnel, recognition of research software and scaling up of reproducibility.

Lamis Yahia Mohamed Elkheir, Co-Director and Training Lead, African Reproducibility Network (AREN) – Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Khartoum, Sudan

I’m honored to serve as Co-Chair of Working Group 2 and look forward to helping shape a more inclusive and context-aware open science monitoring landscape. As someone working at the intersection of neglected tropical diseases and open science in Africa, I’m especially committed to ensuring that our efforts reflect diverse research realities and support equitable global progress.
