The Open Science Monitoring Initiative (OSMI) proudly announces its diverse and growing membership, with currently 166 representatives from 42 different countries across all continents. This global engagement highlights the widespread commitment to advancing open science.

The majority of OSMI members currently represent countries within the Europe and North America region. To further enrich our global perspective, we warmly encourage more members from other regions than Europe, which is well represented, to join us, fostering a more inclusive and diverse exchange of ideas.

OSMI members come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including researchers, librarians, policy-makers, and technologists, all dedicated to fostering a more open and collaborative scientific landscape. Their collective expertise strengthens OSMI’s mission of monitoring and supporting open science initiatives worldwide.
