Since their release in July 2025, the Principles of Open Science Monitoring have begun to gain traction internationally. Welcomed by numerous organisations, they are increasingly referenced by stakeholders across the world (find out more).
To mark the sixth month since the publication of the Principles, the OSMI Coordination Committee launched a survey to gather opinions and feedback on their adoption (see the results).
Institutions and stakeholders were also invited to share their experience with the Principles through testimonials. OSMI is delighted to be able to publish a first round of testimonials from:
- Centre de Recherche CREPARENIT de l’Université de Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo;
- Federation of Finnish Learned Societies, Finland;
- Irish Research eLibrary (IReL), Ireland;
- Northern African Research and Innovation Management Association (NARIMA);
- Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias Españolas (REBIUN), Spain;
- University of Maribor Library, Slovenia.
Those testimonials suggest the Principles are already informing practice. The Irish Research eLibrary, for instance, reported that their “planned work includes adding clearer guidance to interpret dashboards and adding case studies to provide qualitative approaches.”
